It is very heartbreaking for a dog to be abandoned, and they do not deserve to be left alone by their owners. 2 lovely puppies showed their undying love to their former owners, but Astra and Luna were heartlessly dumped under the bridge by them. They were dropped next to trash bins. The 2 lonely and hungry dogs rummaged through the bins for something to eat. Occasionally, they would lift their heads to see if the passersby were their owners returning for them, unknowing that they would never come back. However, fate took a turn towards them in the figure of a little boy who would rescue and shower them with love and affection.
A kind-hearted Samaritan reached out to the Three Little Pitties Rescue and told them about the 2 puppies waiting for their unreturning owners under a bridge. The shelter, located in Texas, rescues stray and abandoned dogs and finds forever homes for them in various states, such as Washington, Oregon, Utah, Idaho, Virginia, Connecticut, New York, Vermont, and Philadelphia.
When Alayna, the founder of the shelter, received the call, she rushed to the scene with her 5-year-old son, Cash. When they arrived, they immediately found the puppies, who felt excited to see the mother and her son. The 2 dogs approached and greeted them wagging their tails, and their eyes were twinkling with happiness. The little boy persuaded his mom to save the puppies.
The 2 dogs, named Luna and Astra, licked Cash’s face, and he gave them kisses in return. Later, he gently picked them up and brought them to his mother’s car. Cash was happy that the 2 dogs were finally saved!
Astra and Luna enjoyed their ride to the shelter, knowing they were finally safe. Their eyes were filled with so much love and happiness as Cash cuddled them along the way. Alayna was proud of her son for his determination and compassion towards the 2 abandoned puppies.
One of the volunteers at the shelter offered to foster the 2 new arrivals. She took Astra and Luna to her home and showered them with love and affection. They were taught manners so they would be ready to face their new owners, who would take them into their forever homes.
2 months passed, and Cash visited the 2 doggies. Excited to reunite with them, he showered them with hugs and kisses. The little boy was so happy to see them and was proud of how much they developed. In return, Astra and Luna felt thrilled to hang out with the little boy, and they showered him with love and kisses.
Soon, both puppies found their forever homes, and they traveled on the rescue’s transport to meet their new families. Astra’s new family saw the dog’s profile on the rescue’s website and immediately stole their hearts.
Astra instantly settled in after meeting her new family. They were filled with love when they held her in their arms for the first time. They were excited to introduce her to Puck, her new sibling. Later, her name was changed to “Zamboni” since her new parents were avid hockey fans.
Luna captivated the hearts of her new parents the moment they met her. She is very excited to start a new life with her family in her forever home.
