In April, a video of a romantic marriage proposal was shared on LOT Polish Airlines’ Facebook page. On board the Warsaw-Kraków flight, LO 3905, Captain Konrad Hanc, the pilot of the flight, welcomed all passengers and mentioned a special person who was also on board. He announced that he met her a year and a half ago and she was a colleague on the same flight. After making the announcement, he knelt on 1 knee and proposed to his flight attendant girlfriend, which she accepted. The video went viral on the internet and was shared on other social media platforms. Passengers onboard the flight, as well as other netizens, extended their greetings and wished the couple a good life together.

As shown in the video, Captain Konrad Hanc said he was planning to propose to his girlfriend onboard the plane. During the flight, he came out of the cockpit. Initially, he introduced himself and welcomed everyone onboard the flight to Kraków. Feeling a bit nervous, he said in Polish: “Good morning, this is Captain Konrad Hanc. I would like to welcome you on board the Embraer 195 aircraft of LOT Polish Airlines. Today, there is a very important person on board this plane. I hope she didn’t expect anything. Ladies and Gentlemen, a year and a half ago, at this job, I met the most wonderful person who completely changed my life. You are the greatest treasure for me, the greatest fulfillment of my dreams. Therefore, I have a question for you, darling. Will you be my wife?”

Before kneeling on 1 knee, he took out some flowers and an engagement ring. Tears of adoration filled his eyes. Once he popped the question, his flight attendant girlfriend, Paula, happily ran to the front and rushed to Konrad’s open arms. They kissed, and she said, “Of course!” Some passengers captured the moment on video and applauded, sending best wishes to the happy couple.

When Konrad put the engagement ring on Paula’s right ring finger, she said, “I don’t know if this is the right hand.” One of the passengers at the distance shouted out, “Did she say yes?” Konrad immediately replied: “She agreed!” The couple sealed the romantic moment with another kiss, and the passengers applauded. Using the flight radio, Konrad said, “Now, we fly to Kraków!”
